We focus on storytelling and want you to feel the emotion of the moment years from now. Our poses tend to be romantic and classic. Our general style is one of light - very bright and cheerful. We like our photos to have a certain joyfulness and optimism about them, it is part of our identity at Enjoy the View Photography.
Let’s talk! An in-person or phone consultation will give you the chance to fill us in on your ideas and style and we can share our approach to a wedding day. A retainer fee is required to hold a date in our calendar and the balance is due one month prior to your wedding. Custom payment plans are available. Once we receive the retainer fee, we will issue a contract and your date is locked in!
Generally speaking, we book 6 to 12 months in advance. But sometimes it's a year and half in advance or as short as just a few weeks. We just never know! If you know you want us to photograph your wedding, the safest bet is to get in touch with us right away.
Yes! We include 50 miles of travel with our collections and are happy to quote further distances. We have photographed weddings throughout Michigan as well as Florida and Jamaica - we love destination weddings!

Absolutely! We love photographing our couples at an engagement session before the wedding. It’s a great chance to get to know each other, to give us an idea of how you interact with each other, and for you to see how we work. Just shoot us an email, give us a call, or fill out the contact form for details. You are welcome to view sample engagement photos here.
We use professional Nikon camera equipment. We use off-camera flashes and reflectors to enable us to get great shots in any lighting situation. We have a plethora of professional lenses and back-up gear on hand at each wedding. Did you know the quality of lens has a huge impact on the quality of the final image? It’s true. Lenses with great compression combined with flattering lighting and posing techniques change a good portrait into a phenomenal one.
Yes! We are a full service studio. We custom design every album and they are printed and assembled by hand by an outstanding company here in the US. Many options are available to customize your album. We also offer a full line of other print products including parent albums, canvases, metals, and framed prints.
Although we love to provide our clients with a full service experience including delivering high quality printed products, you are not required to order anything. You have full printing privileges to your photos and can choose to print them wherever and whenever you choose. We hope that you will choose a quality lab and are happy to provide recommendations.
Of course! We try our best to help you feel as comfortable as possible. We have no problem stepping in and directing as necessary or hanging back and capturing natural moments as they unfold. Oftentimes, we will chose the background that we like, set our lighting and exposure, suggest a flattering pose and then encourage you to interact. This ensures that your photos are polished and pretty but still allows you to be together and enjoy those little moments of closeness. When your groom whispers sweet nothings in your ear or nibbles your neck that is what you will remember when you look at the photo. We make sure it just so happens to be a perfectly exposed and composed photo at the same time!
